Electrical Apprenticeship and Technician Roles Practice Test

NECA is the National Electrical Contractors Association, which serves firms that perform electrical construction work. The vast majority of its members are small electrical subcontractors—firms that specialize in wiring and electrical systems on construction projects and typically work under general contractors. While there are larger electrical contractors and both large and small general contractors in the industry, NECA’s membership is predominantly made up of these small electrical subs. General contractors, whether large or small, aren’t the primary focus of NECA, and general contractors don’t constitute the main membership base. So the best answer is small electrical subcontractors.
